Sara Savoie and Andrew Viada’s love story began in the most unexpected way, during Spanish class, when Andrew asked Sara to be his salsa dancing partner. What started as a simple classroom pairing quickly turned into something more. Their first official date at Scarlet Scoop lasted for hours as they talked and laughed, and by their second date, Andrew knew how he felt. On the beach at Dauphin Island, he asked Sara to be his girlfriend, marking the start of their relationship as they headed into the summer before senior year. From that moment on, they were inseparable, continuing to grow together while dating throughout college.

After graduation, their journey led them to Houston, Texas, where they moved together in the summer of 2023 and began building a life side by side along with their two fur babies, Nami and Yuki. Along the way, they shared countless adventures, including many meaningful trips, especially to Utila Bay Islands, Honduras, the island Sara’s family calls home. Knowing how special that place is to her, Andrew chose it as the setting for the next chapter of their story. On Water Cay in Utila on May 22, 2025, he asked Sara to be his wife, and she said yes.
